Coronavirus (Covid-19) Information
We here at Sumh Packaging are continuing to monitor developments related to the spread of COVID-19. Protecting the well-being of our customers, staff and supply chain is our top priority. We are consulting with government sources, WHO sources, to ensure that we are doing our best to protect our ability to work.
We are taking strong measures to prevent the spread of the virus in all our plants. We have implemented strong and strict hygiene practices that have been implemented in the last few weeks. This includes a strict handwashing policy of at least 20 seconds and hand washing exercises. We have posters all over our premises reminding our staff of the importance of using strategically placed alcohol-based senators to prevent the spread of infection and reduce the risk of exposure. We also clean frequently touching objects and surfaces.
We follow the guidelines of the PK government and our plants are only accepting visitors who are needed to run a business. All visitors and staff are also advised to keep as much distance as possible in accordance with the social distance guidelines. Any staff that bears the mark of CoVID-19 will be sent home immediately and will be told to stay in isolation for 14 days.
We will try to keep our customers and staff up to date and keep them informed of the changing situation and what it means in our business. We will do our best to ensure that businesses, staff and customers are doing the same as we can in this time of uncertainty.
